By joining Calming Calligraphy, you agree to treat this creative space with kindness and respect.
Your purchase gives you personal access to the course, workbook, or workshop you selected — whether online or in-person.

Payments: All sales of digital products (courses, replays, online workshops, and workbooks) are final.
Workshops (in-person): Tickets are fully refundable 72 hours in advance of the workshop, and/or can be transferred to a friend if you can’t make it.
Workshops (online): Tickets are non-refundable. All sales are final. 

Copyright: All materials are for your personal use only — please don’t copy, resell, or share them.
Wellness: Our sessions support calm and creativity but aren’t a substitute for medical or mental-health care.

Welcome to Calming Calligraphy! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and online learning platform hosted on MemberVault (“Site”), as well as your purchase and participation in our in-person offerings. By accessing or purchasing from this Site, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Site or purchase our products.

1. Overview

Calming Calligraphy (“we,” “us,” or “our”) offers online courses, downloadable workbooks, and both virtual and in-person workshops focused on mindfulness, creativity, and calligraphy. These services are designed for personal use and education.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to purchase or participate in any of our programs or workshops.

3. Purchases & Payments

• All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise noted.
  
   
• Payment is due at the time of purchase via the payment processor provided.
  
   
• We reserve the right to modify pricing, offerings, or availability at any time.
  
   

4. Refunds & Cancellations

• Digital Products (courses, replays, workshops or workbooks): Due to the immediate access to digital content, all sales are final and non-refundable.
  
   
• In-Person Workshops: Tickets are refundable 72 hours in advance of the event. If you are unable to attend, you may gift or sell your ticket to another participant by notifying us at least 6 hours before the event.
  
   
• In the rare case that a workshop must be cancelled by Calming Calligraphy (e.g., illness, low enrollment, or unforeseen circumstances), participants will receive a full refund or credit toward a future event.
  
   

5. Intellectual Property

All materials provided through our courses, workbooks, and workshops—including but not limited to videos, worksheets, designs, handouts, text, and calligraphy templates—are protected by copyright and remain the intellectual property of Calming Calligraphy.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or share any materials publicly or commercially without written permission.

6. Personal Conduct

We value kindness and respect in all our spaces—online and in person. We reserve the right to remove or deny access to any participant who engages in behaviour deemed disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to others.

7. Technology & Access

While we do our best to maintain smooth platform access, we are not responsible for interruptions due to MemberVault outages, internet issues, or third-party service failures.

You are responsible for ensuring your device and internet connection meet the requirements for viewing and participating in our online offerings.

8. Liability Disclaimer

Our workshops and materials are for educational and wellness purposes only and are not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment.

Participation is voluntary, and you agree to release Calming Calligraphy, its owner Angie Bailey, and any affiliates from liability for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in our programs or use of our materials.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly. Continued use of our Site indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
